With the objective to provide insights into footwear manufacturing under PM Shri Scheme, a seven days meticulously designed training programme for the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jalore has commenced at FDDI Jodhpur, campus.
This training programme was inaugurated on 29th March 2024 during which Dr. Nidhi Deauskar from BSF Frontier Headquarters was the ‘Chief Guest’.
In her address, Dr. Nidhi Deauskar urged the students to take full advantage of this special training programme and to acquire industry-relevant skills.
Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED), FDDI, Jodhpur campus his ‘Welcome Address’ said, “The field of footwear manufacturing technology presents numerous opportunities for individuals interested in the design, production, and quality control of footwear.
During the training programme which is being attended by more than 80 students the experts of FDDI provided knowledge to the students on Fundamentals & Basic Concept of Footwear & Leather Product, Concepts of Design Thinking, Sketching Concepts & its Practicability, Practical Aspects of Designing, Pattern Making & Engineering Concepts of Footwear Design & Leather Product Design etc.
