‘Hindi Pakhwara’ Held at FDDI Campuses

In order to promote the knowledge and skills in use of official language – Hindi among the faculty, staff and the students in consonance with the policy of Government of India, the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) organized various competitions during the ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ (01-14, September, 2013) at its campuses.

It was on September 14, 1949 when the Constitution makers of the country decided to accord the status of Official Language of the Union to Hindi. To commemorate the historic occasion, Hindi Diwas is observed every year this day.

“As a responsible citizen of this country, we must promote and encourage the use of Hindi, which is an epitome of our being in true spirits.”
- Mr. Raajeev j Lakhara, Managing Director, FDDI

In the present era of globalization and urbanization, the relevance of Hindi as our national language has been deteriorating day-by-day & the FDDI understanding it as its moral responsibility is trying its level best to bring back the respect and gratitude of Hindi.
