Mr. Raajeev j Lakhara, Managing Director, FDDI, in his message emphasized to work for the integrity and unity of Indiaand said, “On this great day, we became privileged to be the citizens of the Sovereign Republic of India. On January 26, 1950, sixty-three years ago, we adopted the largest and unique Constitution of the world having the ideals of equality, justice, liberty & fraternity.”
He exhorted the staff & students to work with great zeal and enthusiasm for the overall development of the nation.
Tableau of FDDI, Fursatgaj which received the 3rd prize
To mark the RepublicDay, a programmewas organized in the auditorium of the FDDI at Noidaon 24th January 2013 whereMr. Manu Tentiwal, Executive Director, FDDI and Mr. Amit Kumar, Executive Director, FDDI were present.
The programme commenced with a skit on ‘Women Empowerment’ which was a tribute to ‘Nirbhaya’whose brutal rape and murder has left the hearts of mankind empty and minds in turmoil.
FDDI, Chhindwara students presenting cultural programme
The celebrations on 26th January 2013, at the FDDI Noidacampus took off with unfurling the Tri-Colour at 9.30 AM byMr. Ajay Kumar, Secretary FDDI in the presence of staff and students of Noida campus.
In his address, Mr. Kumar said, “26th January is one of India's most important national events. Let us vow to make our great country a vibrant, progressive & strong nation on this Republic Day.”
National flag hoisted at FDDI, Rohtak
The national anthem united all, including the staff & students of FDDI who came together and looked towards working for a better India.
On the occasion of 64th Republic Day, the national flag was unfurled in the premises of FDDI, Fursatganj campus with traditional gaiety and fervour.
FDDI, Chennai students rendering patriotic songs
FDDI, Fursatganjalso participated in the tableau for the first time during the Republic Day parade in the State of Uttar Pradesh at Lucknow and bagged the third prize.
Elated with this development, Mr. Raajeev j Lakhara, Managing Director, FDDI, said “The tableau, during the Republic Day parade showed how FDDI is providing world class technical knowledge amongst the youth who are seeking their career in the field of Footwear, Management, Fashion& Retail which holds the promise of intellectual and material rewards.”
The tableau depicted a replica of the enormous building of FDDI where students are provided world class training with the help of most modern equipments, machineries &state-of-the-art technology. It alsoshowcased the products developed, designed and made by students and presented the wonderful saga of education, employment & empowerment.
'Tug-of-War' at FDDI, Kolkata
The efforts of FDDI were appreciated by everyone and the trophy was given by His Excellency, Mr. B. L. Joshi,theHon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
At the FDDI Chennai campus, Mr. D. SaalaiMaraan, Executive Director unfurled the Tri-colour where the staff & students of FDDI were present. A colourful cultural programme was presented on this occasion. The cultural programmecaptivated the staff & students with songs of patriotic fervor and atmosphere was charged with patriotic sentiments.
At FDDI’s Rohtak& Jodhpur campus, the national flag hoisting ceremony was held, amidst playing of national anthem. The Republic Day celebration was marked by cultural performances by the staff and students of the Institute.
At FDDIKolkata campus, subsequent to the flag hoisting, a cultural programme was also organized in the Institutewithgreat enthusiasm.
FDDI’s Chhindwara campus organized the flag hoisting ceremony in an impressive manner. On this occasion, cricket and volleyball match between the junior and senior students of the Institute was organized.
