Ms. Mamgain, a resident of Kaushambi in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh specialises in ballerina shoes. Ms. Mamgain designed her first pair of shoes at the age of 16 and today her range of ballerinas is priced between ` 1,250 and ` 4,500 which she is exporting to a lot of foreign countries.
In July 2011, when she decided to launch her own brand her love for colours and passion for fashion yielded the concept of “hand-painted” shoes with her first collection for fashion loving youth.
“She has hand painted & designed shoes for Anurag Kashyap's film ‘Bombay Velvet’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and we are proud of Ms. Mamgain for shining in the highly competitive Indian film industry and for bringing accolade to FDDI's name,” added Mr. Lakhara.
