Research paper was presented by staff of Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Rohtak campus during the National Rubber Conference (NRC) organized by All India Rubber Industrial Association (AIRIA) on 17th December 2016 at Kolkata.
The conference was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Tathagata Roy, His Excellency Governor of Tripura, Agartala & Guest of Honour Prof. Ajoy Kr. Roy, Director, Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology, Howarh.
NRC was a perfect forum to discuss the new innovations taking place globally in the field of Rubber /Footwear Technology & allied fields.
The theme of the conference was ‘Technological Innovations, Green Energy and Brand Creation’ during which many eminent speakers from the industry, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), academicians & research scholars enriched the audience with their knowledge & multifarious experience through paper presentation.
The topics of technical papers were from multidimensional areas right from 3-D Printing, Digital Marketing & Brand creation, future of global trade, sustainability of Rubber & Footwear industry, Renewable Resources, green ingredients & automation etc.
Dr. A. K. Mathur of FDDI School of Footwear Design & Production (FSFDP) of Rohtak campus presented the research paper on ‘New Generation Materials and Technologies in Footwear Manufacturing’.
