An insightful webinar on the theme of ‘The Importance of Cost in Organizations’ was conducted on 14th December 2022 by FDDI, Noida campus during which Dr. Emidio Valentini, President of Real Economy Foundation was the ‘Key speaker’.
Dr. Emidio Valentini, who has been nominated for Noble Prize in 2022 is a global expert on Finance who has authored multiple books on this subject. Dr. Valentini has held prestigious positions including Deputy Head of Cabinet of the Minister for Scientific and Technological Research, Italy and President of NewMan.
Dr. Valentini gave tips & better understanding to the students on how to protect one’s business and also offered students access to his software and lab to learn more about the concepts.
An international panel comprising of representatives from France, Italy and Bangladesh was present during this webinar. Dr. Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Head - South Asia, Real Economy Foundation and Professor, AMET University, moderated the session.
While interacting with students, Dr. Gupta pointed out that human elements are significant in initiating and implementing any cost saving measures.
The webinar which was organized by School of Retail and Fashion Merchandise was attended by students, alumni and faculty from all campuses of FDDI that highlighted how wastage can be minimized to improve profitability in both public and private enterprises.
