FDDI, Chandigarh (Banur) campus conducts e-workshop ‘The Pink Smokey Eyes’
An e-workshop, ‘The Pink Smokey Eyes’ was conducted at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chandigarh (Banur) campus on 15th May 2021.
The workshop was organised under Make-Up and Styling module by the FDDI School of Fashion Design (FSFD), for which, Ms. Shaifali Arora, Make-up artist was the resource person.
Through a presentation, Ms. Arora provided useful reasons as to why make-up and styling skills have become a necessity in the fashion industry and what are skills one needs in order to be a successful professional Make-up artist.
Ms. Arora imparted knowledge on grooming of self-personality. She demonstrated the process of applying the basic makeup to advanced makeup skills according to the occasion, weather, skin type, Day time-Night time etc.
She said that “Makeup is a powerful tool used by all the gender around the world to enhance their looks and feel confident.”
The concluding event of the workshop was covered by Ms. Gauri Bhatia, HoD- FSFD, who explained the scope of Make-up and Styling skills in the Fashion world which involves lots of glamour and lucrative career options for students like the profile of Fashion Stylist's, Fashion Designer, Fashion Bloggers, Fashion Consultant, Fashion Models etc.
The e-workshop which provided technical inputs and the traits, qualities & skills needed to be a successful Make-up artist that set them apart in the highly competitive Fashion world was attended by a total of fifty participants.
There was an interactive session after the e-workshop during which the doubts of the participants were cleared.
