Convocation ceremony for the batches of B.Sc. FDP 2017-2020, B.Sc. RFM 2017-2020, MBA RFM 2018-2020, B. Des FDP 2017-2021 & MBA RFM 2019-2021 of Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Rohtak campus was held on 12th April, 2022.
The event was graced by Mr. Subhash Jagga, Managing Director - M/s. Today’s Footwear Pvt. Ltd. as ‘Chief Guest’ whereas Mr. Panna Lal Vaid, Managing Director - M/s. Swastik Polymers Pvt. Ltd. & Mr. Virender Kumar, Vice President –Manufacturing, M/s. Relaxo Footwears Ltd., were the ‘Guest of Honour’. Besides this, other dignitaries which included Mr. Pawan Goyal, Managing Director - M/s. Combit Footwear Pvt. Ltd. & Mr. Sunil Garg, Managing Director - Laxmi Sports Shoes Pvt. Ltd. also graced the occasion.
On behalf of FDDI, Campus In-charge, Mr. Shyam Katiyar welcomed the Chief Guest and all the delegates, the graduating students during which the alumni, staff & other guest were also present.
The Convocation ceremony began with the lighting-up of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest along with other dignitaries and then the invocation ‘Saraswati Vandana’ was recited in the presence of an audience comprised of the Graduating batch, the entire student & staff body of the Institute.
In his ‘Keynote Address’, the Chief Guest, Mr. Subhash Jagga extended his best wishes for a prosperous future to all passing-out students. He also shared some industrial experiences and motivated the students to do societal development through hard work and by using the innovative technology.
Marking the successful completion of their respective professional programme, a total of 64 students were awarded their Degrees.
