Webinar on ‘End to End Process in Fashion Industry’ held at FDDI, NOIDA campus
On 03rd February 2021, Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), NOIDA conducted a webinar on ‘End to End Process in Fashion Industry’.
The webinar was organized by School of Leather Goods and Accessories Design which provided an insight on devising strategies, executing them in existing and new & uncharted territories for the unique needs of the fashion industry.
Ms. Anurita Chandola was the resource person for the informative session who is having more than 08 years of experience with renowned international brands.
She is qualified designer from FDDI and Royal College of Art London and worked for companies like United Colors of Benetton, New Delhi as a ‘Design Manager’ for men's, women's and kids’ range for their sub brand: Undercolors. Presently, she is working in the United Kingdom as Women's Mainline and Retail Designer for Weird Fish. Recently, she has launched her own label, Eesh -which caters to sustainable fashion.
An understanding of the design process and manufacturing is critical for fashion enthusiasts looking to launch their own brand. Awareness of related elements and processes, such as style, fabric, cut, trim, fall, consumption, dyeing, and embroidery, right up to the end product is decisive to get to the top in any fashion venture.
Ms. Chandola explained the necessary steps required for understanding the manufacturing process and knowing how to work together effectively to grow one’s fashion business & building a successful brand.
This webinar was attended by students and faculties from different centers of FDDI.
