On 10th October 2024, an 'Exposure-cum-Study' tour for the students of School of Fashion Design (FD) of FDDI-Jodhpur campus was organized at Surya Nagar Kadai Craft Unit.
During the visit at this renowned textile craft unit, the students gained insights into the intricate art of patchwork and traditional embroidery.
Mr. Manohar Lal from Surya Nagar Kadai Craft guided the students through the entire process of patchwork and embroidery which is commonly used in creating home décor items like bed sheets, pillow covers, wall hangings, carpets, and other products.
This visit provided the students an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and skills from the leaders of this in the field of textile craft.
