Mr. Ashok Swamy, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Head - Regional Training Center (RTC), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) visited the CoE -FDDI, Jodhpur on 7th October, 2024. He was greeted by Mr. Anil Kumar AFHQCS, Executive Director FDDI Jodhpur campus.
The purpose of the visit was to explore advanced footwear and orthotic technologies for special forces and future research collaboration.
CoE team demonstrated the advanced materials and technologies such as biomechanics, 3D modelling and sensor driven customization which can be used to create footwear and orthotic aids that can cater to a wide range of conditions, injuries and can improve performance among employees of special forces.
Possibility of joint training initiatives and the development of customized footwear solutions tailored to the operational demands of the CRPF were also discussed.
