On 03rd November 2024, Dr. Rambabu Muppidi, Faculty- Leather Goods and Accessories Design (LGAD), FDDI - Hyderabad campus was honored with prestigious Andhra Pradesh Chitra Kala Pennidhi Puraskar State Award.
He was felicitated during the Ongole Art Fest 2024, organized by Kalayajna, Srusti Art Academy and Nestmekere in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh for his artwork, which focused on the Gupta period of architecture. He utilized acrylic colors on canvas for this piece.
This accolade included a certificate, a memento, and appreciation from Mr. Damacharla Janardhan, MLA, Dr. Thimmiri Ravindra, founder of the academy and Mr. Shesha Brahmma, a contemporary artist On this occasion, numerous other participating artists from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were present.
Dr. Rambabu Muppidi is a highly experienced artisan from Andhra Pradesh having extensive knowledge in various Indian art forms, product designs, handicrafts, and fashion design.
