The students of School of Footwear Design & Production (FDP) of FDDI, Hyderabad campus presented their innovative footwear designs collection during fashion show held on the occasion of annual the BIS Carnival 2025, organized at Sanghamitra School on 11th January 2025.
The fashion show with the theme, "Anima Fusion: Celebrate the Spirit," mesmerized the audience with its remarkable collection of footwear designs, earning high praise and admiration from all who attended.
Mrs. K. Shilpavalli, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for Social Media Monitoring and Intelligence (SMIT), Hyderabad, Telangana, was the Chief Guest for the event. Mr. P.V. Srikanth, Director and Head of BIS Hyderabad, along with other members of the BIS team, was also present during the fashion show.
FDDI students showcased an extraordinary collection that blended traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, emphasizing intricate details and creative ingenuity. Each design dedicated to cultural diversity, highlighting how footwear can serve as a canvas for storytelling and artistic expression.
The fashion show was a perfect amalgamation of heritage and contemporary design, reflecting the immense talent and creativity of the students. Their hard work and artistic efforts were highly appreciated, with students receiving 'Certificate of Appreciation' from BIS-Hyderabad for their outstanding participation.
