On 23rd January 2025, the School of Footwear Design & Production (FDP), FDDI Hyderabad campus organized an interactive ‘Career Development Session’ for students of B.Des. FDP (2021, 2022, and 2023 batches) and BBA (2024 batch).
The session was conducted by Mr. Brijesh Das, Founder of M/S Kuzi Barefoot Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. Drawing on his extensive industry experience and knowledge, Mr. Brijesh shared valuable insights and practical advice on career development.
The speaker emphasized the importance of preparing for interviews by strategically crafting answers, anticipating potential follow-up questions, and sharing specific examples or anecdotes to demonstrate expertise. He advised students to critically analyze their responses and tailor them to showcase their strengths and suitability for the role.
Mr. Brijesh also offered actionable tips on successfully navigating the interview process. He highlighted the significance of acquiring industry-specific knowledge, asking thoughtful questions to the interviewer, and effectively showcasing relevant skills and a genuine interest in the company and role.
The session provided students with a deeper understanding of the industry and encouraged them to stay updated on the latest developments and how to customize one’s resume and cover letter based on skills, experience and industry demands.
