To review the progress of the ongoing project of Mega Leather Footwear and Accessories Cluster (MLF&AC) located at Sitapur Phase II, Industrial Area, Morena, Madhya Pradesh (MP) under Indian Footwear and Leather Development Programme (IFLDP) and to create awareness about the IDLS Scheme at Agra, a delegation visited the same on 27th June 2024.
The delegation consisted of Ms. Mamta, Director (L&F), DPIIT, Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Managing Director, FDDI, Mr. Sachin Singh Chauhan, Assistant Section Officer, DPIIT, Mr. Vijay Kumar Nehra, Deputy Director, National Productivity Council (NPC).
The officials of Regional Office (RO) of Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Limited (MPIDC), Gwalior, namely, Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Executive Engineer and Mr. S.K Bhargawa, Executive Engineer briefed the delegation about the progress of Mega Leather Footwear and Accessories Cluster at the site.
The delegation also visited M/s. Mayur Uniquoters Limited, a manufacturing unit involves in mass production of PU Artificial Leather located at Sitapur Industrial Area, Phase I, MP.
An awareness programme on Integrated Development of Leather Sector (IDLS) Scheme was organized by FDDI on 27th June 2024 at Ms. Dawar Shoes, Agra.
A presentation was given about guidelines of the Scheme followed by demonstration “How to Apply for Integrated Development of Leather Sector (IDLS) Scheme” which was attended by more than 30 units of Agra footwear cluster. The queries of the Applicant Unit were also resolved.
