The Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Leather & Footwear Section, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India has allocated the additional charge of the Managing Director (MD), Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) to Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, Director (Startup India), DPIIT vide office order no.: P-27011/5/2022- Leather (Part-1) dt. 19th July 2024.
Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal is an IAS officer of 2009 batch of Punjab cadre. He did his M.B.B.S. from Govt. Medical College J&K University.
