FDDI participated in the 8th India International Footwear Fair 2024 (IIFF), which was held from 08th to 10th August, 2024 at Hall No. 5 & 6, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
IIFF was organized by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and co-organized by Confederation of Indian Footwear Industries (CIFI).
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, IAS – Managing Director (MD), FDDI, Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary-FDDI, Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, Sr. Vice President - CIFI, Mr. V Noushad, President, CIFI, Mr. Alok Jain, National Treasurer, CIFI and other industry dignitaries.
IIFF had display of entire range of products relating to footwear and leather industries: footwear, raw material, finished products and auxiliary products such as synthetic material, finished leather; shoe components - uppers, soles, heels, counters, lasts; footwear machinery and equipment, process technology, software, chemicals and publications.
FDDI showcased Design collections made by students at various campuses and also showcased the facilities provided by its seven Center of Excellence (CoE).
The demonstration of foot scanning machine was also conducted drawing significant attention from visitors. The machine showcased cutting-edge technology designed to precisely measure and analyze the structure of the foot.
FDDI also unveiled the collection of two Startups of alumni namely, Mr. Yogesh Mankar, CEO of Colour Kicks (Footwear) and Mr. Biplab Bhattacharjee, Design consultant and exporter of handbags, leather garments, footwear and accessories.
During the IIFF, FDDI in association with CIFI organized a fashion show ‘Fusion’ on 09th August, 2024.
Audience was mesmerized by the grace and beauty of the entire show. The event was a huge success as it was well appreciated in the form of thunderous applause after the show. A flash mob during the IIFF was also organized by FDDI which added an element of surprise, excitement, and entertainment to the event.
