Ms. Estela Chan and Mr. Chester Chen from the Taipei Economic & Cultural Center in India visited the ‘IFCOMA-FDDI Display Center’ on 29th August 2024 located at FDDI complex, Sector 24, Noida.
IFCOMA having a strength of over 300 members comprising of manufacturers of Sole, Insole, Lasts, Toe puff and Counter, linings, Interlinings, adhesives, Metallic fittings, Chemicals & Compounds, Clicking Dies, Eyelets, EVA Sheets & Compounds, Finishes & Polishes, Labels, Laces etc., has been instrumental in providing a fillip to the industry and is having a unique ‘IFCOMA-FDDI Display Center’ at FDDI complex, Sector 24, Noida.
The purpose of their visit was to have discussion with the doyens of the Indian footwear and components & accessories manufacturers on joint venture & technical support opportunities.
A meeting in this regard was held at FDDI which was attended by Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary, FDDI, Mr. Sanjay Gupta – President, Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (IFCOMA) & MD – Sandeep Rubber Industries, Mr. Sudhir Rustagi- Ess Aar Universal Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sunil Parashar- Metalware Corporation, Mr. Sushil Gupta- Shreeji Polyfab Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Romit Dhingra- Dhingra Shoe Interlining Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Shreyansh Jain- Navkar Techtex Ltd., Mr. Neeraj Garg- Horizon Performance Polyurethane Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal- Classic Polymers and Mr. S K Verma, Executive Director, IFCOMA.
The meeting paved way a strategic opportunity to leverage each partner’s strengths, resources, and expertise to achieve shared objectives in the areas related to technology, manufacturing, marketing etc.
