For professional skill enhancement, the staff of FDDI, Fursatganj campus & the staff of FDDI’s Operator Training Centre (OTC) Banthar underwent two days ‘Online Training Session on Computer Aided Designing (CAD)’ on 5th & 6th January 2023.
The session was conducted by Mind Shoe Design Solutions, Portugal during which the experts from Portugal namely, Mr. Paulo Coelho & Mr. Gabrial demonstrated about the software called Mind Shoe Design Cloud version.
The training session illustrated how to draw the lines on last, develop the different parts of shoes, texture of shoe materials and colours, eyelets position, laces etc. The experts demonstrated the process to create the soles as per shoe design and colours, to select soles, eyelets, material texture etc. from there pre-defined given themes and to create different kinds of soles with the help of Adobe Illustrator (AI).
The unique feature of this software is that one can create 2D and 3D view of any design on the same screen. Anything drawn on 2D Design, will be reflected on 3D view which enhance the creativity and visibility of designer and also saves designer’s time.
Mind Shoe Design also conducted a contest called Contest ’22 with the aim of finding designers interested in using their creativity to find attractive designs. It is a design competition aimed at shoe designers regardless of their level of experience.
Step-by-step tutorials created by CAD experts helped the participants enhance the skills of latest CAD.
