Under the industrial visit, the students of Fashion Design of B. Des FD 2021-23 batch of FDDI, Noida campus were taken to Ghulam Hastkala Prints, Noida on 9th May, 2023.
Ghulam Hastkala Prints was founded by Ghulam Nabi which manufactures a wide range of printed ladies scarves, ladies designer kurtis, leggings and sarees with different colours and designs.
The students, accompanied by Dr. Sushila Hooda, Jr. Faculty, FDDI, visited the various departments of the printing unit and learned about the latest technology machines, production of screens for screen printing, wooden blocks for hand block printing and the working environment of the company by the experts of various departments located at B Block, Sec. 8, Noida.
The students were explained about the making of different styles of printing by the technical experts. They also created their own print samples of screen printing using different screens with colour variations.
