Certificate distribution ceremony held by FDDI, Patna campus for the Trainees of Madhubani Painting on Hard Goods Items


Certificate distribution ceremony was organized by Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Patna campus for the trainees of Madhubani Painting on Hard Goods items mainly made up of leather and other material, who completed their training programme successfully.

FDDI, Patna campus has started this training center for Madhubani Painting on Hard Goods items at Siswar village in the district of Madhubani, Bihar on 18th September 2020.

A total of 44 trainees who successfully completed the training programme were awarded their certificate during the ceremony which was held on 01st December 2020 by maintaining precautionary measures of COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Vinod Shankar Singh, General Manager, District Industry Center, Madhubani was the Chief Guest of the function who appreciated the training programme conducted by FDDI and the step taken by it to revive, re-construct, and develop this beautiful art as a part of cottage industry.

During this ceremony, the Mukhya of Gram Panchayat Rajya Siswar, Smt. Archna Devi, the members of Gram Panchayat Rajya Siswar, dignitaries from the village Siswar, Kalapatti and participants of the training programme were present.

The Chief Guest congratulated all the trainees for their success and encouraged them to create a source of non-agriculture income by making Hard Goods items like flower pot, ladies bags, mobile stand, pen stand, photo frame, card holder, home decor products, etc. mainly made up of leather and other material for commercial uses with Madhubani Painting with passion & dedication. He also assured the trainees to provide all the support in marketing of these products.

The training programme which commenced from 28th September 2020 was successfully completed on 13th November 2020. Due to Assembly Election in the State of Bihar, the training was not conducted from 21st October 2020 to 8th November 2020.
