Under the Vocational Education - National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) program, a four day exposure visit cum On-the-Job Training programme was conduced for 240 students at FDDI, Rohtak Campus from 20th to 24th March 2025.
During the visit, the students accompanied by their teacher from Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Kalanur, and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Nigana, Rohtak belonging to Class 9-12 were provided valuable insights into various sectors, including Footwear Designing, Fashion Design, Store Display, Retail and Sales Management, IT etc.
The expert faculties of School of Footwear Design and Production (FDP) and School of Fashion Design (FD) of FDDI Rohtak Campus delivered comprehensive lectures and organized interactive field and lab visit for the students. Additionally, students had the opportunity to visit the Centre of Excellence (CoE).
During the closing ceremony of the training program held on 26th March 2025, the students were awarded certificates of participation by Ms. Sarita Duhan, Executive Director, FDDI - Rohtak in the presence of Mr. Devendra Katariya, Principal of the school.
This learning opportunity aimed to enhance students' knowledge and skills, preparing them for future opportunities available in the footwear and fashion design sectors.
