‘Kalaspanda– 2025’ held at FDDI, Chhindwara Campus


A six-day cultural extravaganza ‘Kalaspanda– 2025’ was held at FDDI Chhindwara Campus from 5th to 10th May 2025, showcasing the creative brilliance and vibrant spirit of youth through a series of over 30 talent-based events.

The "Tez Tarang" Talent Hunt kicked off the event with vibrant competitions like face painting, costume design, rap battles, and more, showcasing student creativity and turning the campus into a lively hub of energy and innovation.

From 8th - 10th May 2025, FDDI Chhindwara, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Yuva Pratibha Protsahan Manch, Madhya Pradesh, hosted the Sarveshwari Music Festival—an international cultural event celebrating India’s classical performing arts which was inaugurated by Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary, FDDI.

During this festival which commenced with a stunning celebration of Indian classical arts, young talents from across India delivered captivating performances in vocal, instrumental, and classical dance. A cultural dance performance by FDDI students was a special highlight, beautifully portraying the essence of India's rich artistic heritage.

On the fifth day of Kalaspanda, classical vocalist Mr. Rahul Rohit Mishra accompanied by Mr. Deepak Khasarwal and Mr. Priyam Soni captivated the audience, followed by a soulful flute performance by Mr. Ashwin Srinivasan and tabla virtuoso Mr. Ojas Adhiya. In parallel, FDDI students showcased their creativity in the "Rang Shringar" fashion collection, with standout designs by Anjali Soni and Nandini Patel receiving special acclaim.

The Sarveshwari Music Festival concluded with "Taal Yatra," a powerful percussion performance by Padma Shri Taal Yogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar and his disciples. The event ended with a Youth Talent Felicitation Ceremony - recognizing emerging young artists and a Q&A session offering insights into Indian percussion.
