On 2nd May 2025, Principals Meet was held at FDDI, Guna Campus which was attended by more than 150 Principals and educators from the district.
Mr. Kishore Kumar Kanyal, IAS, Collector, Guna – joined via Google Meet and addressed the gathering. The other prominent officials who attended included Mr. C.S. Sisodia, District Education Officer, Guna, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Assistant Director, Mr. B. Sisodiya, District Coordinator, Tribal Welfare Department and Mr. Asif Khan, Mr. H.N. Pathan.
Ms. Manju Maan, Executive Director –FDDI, Guna Campus briefed the participants on career opportunities in footwear, fashion, leather products, and retail through skill-based professional programs of FDDI.
She highlighted the lateral entry admission process and explained how FDDI is aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) to provide students with practical, industry-oriented training opportunities.
She also briefed about FDDI’s ‘Pratibha Samman Yojana’, its objective & eligibility criteria under which the first 100 students from Guna district scoring 60% or above in Class 12th will receive prizes and awards.
