‘Aarambh’ — the inaugural ceremony for the specialized 12-week Certificate Course in Retail Management for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) of the Indian Tri-Services (Army, Navy, and Air Force) — was held at the FDDI, Noida Campus on 9th June 2025.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Lt. Col. Jaideep Singh, Joint Director of the Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), who delivered an inspiring address to the inaugural batch of JCO participants.
Ms. Manju 'Mann', Executive Director of FDDI Noida Campus, extended a warm welcome to the participants and emphasized FDDI’s unwavering commitment to supporting national initiatives. She highlighted the institute's role in empowering armed forces personnel through skill development and capacity building, reinforcing its dedication to contributing to the nation’s growth and self-reliance.
FDDI's newly launched Certificate Course in Retail Management is thoughtfully designed to equip JCOs with the essential knowledge and practical skills required in the retail sector, enabling a smooth and confident transition into civilian careers.
This initiative reflects FDDI's strong commitment to national service and to bridging the gap between military experience and industry requirements.
