‘11th International Yoga Day’ celebrated at FDDI Campuses


‘11th International Yoga Day (IYD)’ was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all campuses of FDDI by holding Yoga sessions on 21st June, 2025.

To mark its significance and raise awareness about the many benefits of Yoga, the United Nations proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga in December 2014.

At FDDI, Noida Campus, Yoga session was conducted by certified Yoga instructor of Isha Foundation.

The theme for IYD 2025 is 'Yoga for One Earth, One Health’ — highlighting interconnectedness of human and planetary health and echoes global vision of collective wellness, rooted in India's philosophy of 'Sarve Santu Niramaya' (May all be free from disease).

At FDDI, Jodhpur Campus, various types of Yoga asanaas and breathing exercises were conducted by the staff of the institute under the guidance of Yoga expert from Rajasthan Ayurveda University.

At FDDI, Hyderabad Campus, Yoga session was supported by One Care Connect, Kondapur, Hyderabad branch. The participants practiced asanaas under the guidance of Mrs. Mallika Naripeddy, a certified and experienced Ashtanga Yoga Trainer.

At FDDI, Kolkata Campus, Mr. Rameshwar Roy from the Maintenance Department graciously took the lead in enlightening the participants about the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of Yoga and guided the participants through a few basic yoga asanas and breathing exercises.

At FDDI, Rohtak Campus, the session was conducted by Dr. Anil Kumar, a renowned Yoga expert with a Ph.D. in Yog Darshan.

At FDDI, Banur Campus, Yoga session was conducted by Yoga Trainer from Isha Foundation.

At Fursatganj campus, Yoga session conducted by Mr. P.N. Pathak, a renowned Yoga instructor with extensive experience in promoting holistic health through yoga.

At Chhindwara Campus, the day commenced with soul-soothing yoga session led by Mr. Shashi Tiwari, District Head, Patanjali, Chhindwara. Around 200–250 employees from across campuses enthusiastically participated in the Yoga session.

The participants were guided through a series of yoga asanas (poses) aimed at enhancing flexibility, strength, and inner balance.
