The 3-month Specialized Certificate Program in Footwear Manufacturing & Retail, conducted in collaboration with the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), concluded successfully on 26th June 2025.
In the presence of Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director - FDDI Jodhpur Campus, along with the institute’s staff, the event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. V.S. Shenoi, Director & Outstanding Scientist, DRDO – Defence Lab, Jodhpur, Dr. Rajeev Agrawal, Clinical Director, Foot Care, Jaipur, Brigadier Akash Bhardwaj, Regional Head, DGR.
The trainees proudly showcased the products they developed during the course, which were reviewed by a jury headed by National Awardee Mohanlal Gurjar.
The program was designed to upgrade the participants’ skills and qualifications, facilitating their re-employment or self-employment after military service, a real step towards ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
