Mr. Lamangkyrpang Lyngdoh Mawnai, a student of B.Des- (Batch: 2024-2028) of the School of Footwear Design and Production (FDP) of FDDI, Kolkata Campus was recognized by the National Innovation Foundation- India for his innovative hybrid footwear, ‘Shoe-Cum-Slipper’.
He innovatively created a versatile two-in-one design footwear that functions as both a slipper and a shoe. The removable outer cover allows it to be worn as a slipper in hot or rainy weather, and as a shoe during colder conditions.
This unique product combines the structured support of a shoe with the relaxed ease of a slipper, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
