FDDI has signed a Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with ICAR – National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology (NINFET) on 30th September 2024.
Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, IAS – Managing Director (MD), FDDI signed the MoUs on behalf of FDDI whereas Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director signed the MoU on behalf of ICAR-NINFET.
The MoU were signed at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi in the presence of Colonel Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary – FDDI, Dr. Madhusudan Pal, Director, CoE - FDDI, Mr. Anoop Singh Rana, HoS - Leather Goods and Accessories Design (LGAD) - FDDI and Dr. Santanu Basak - ICAR-NINFET.
Divulging the details, Dr. Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, IAS – MD, FDDI said, “It is a significant step in strengthening academic and research ties between FDDI and ICAR-NINFET, paving way for innovative product development through material and design advancements.”
ICAR- NINFET is a premier institution under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi dedicated to research in jute and allied natural fibres, promoting their diversified use and contributing to industrial growth.
