The students of FDDI Kolkata campus visited the ‘Hasta Shilpa Mela 2025’ on 29th January 2025 at City Square Ground, Opposite Central Mall, Kolkata.
The Mela organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Textile Department, showcasing a wide range of handcrafted products from artisans across the State, provided the students gain insights into the ancient traditional crafts of West Bengal.
The visit was marked by great curiosity and enthusiasm among the students. They had the opportunity to interact directly with the artisans, gaining valuable knowledge and understanding that will contribute to their future craft cluster projects. This experience has significantly enriched their perspective on traditional crafts and the craftsmanship of Bengal.
