Official Language Hindi workshop held at FDDI, Noida Campus


A one-day Hindi workshop on ‘Implementation of the Official Language Policy in the Office’ was organized for the staff at FDDI, Noida on 11th July 2024, during which the other FDDI campuses connected online.

Dr. Pragya Kandpal, Hindi Officer, Inland Waterways Authority of India, Noida and Member Secretary, Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Noida was the resource person.

In her address, she laid great emphasis to follow the official language policy of the Union Government to make maximum use of the Hindi of Official Language in our institution / office as much as possible.

She said that in accordance with the annual program issued by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, correspondence, noting writing and drafting etc., should be written in Hindi to achieve the region-wise targets set in this regard for which simple language should be used.

She further said that it is the constitutional responsibility of all of us to use and propagate the official language Hindi in official work.
