A webinar having three sessions under the head ‘Virtual Retail Alumni Connect’ was held at Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chhindwara campus on 19th November, 2020.
It was organized by the School of Retail & Fashion Merchandise of FDDI Chhindwara campus during which the alumni of Retail and Fashion Merchandise (RFM) Department of FDDI, Chhindwara campus addressed the challenges and innovations shaping the retail landscape. They also shared their journey from being Retail student to a Retail professional for career development.
The alumni made presentations on three different topics namely, Retailing in Middle East, Use of Design Principles for Impactful Window Display and Post - COVID Changes in Retail Industry during the three sessions of the webinar.
During the webinar, the students acquired substantial exposure and knowledge regarding various insights and job profile and set themselves up for career success.
The webinar was attended by approximately 120 participants including students, faculty members and staff members across 12 campuses of FDDI and from other institutions and industry persons. The event was watched by many on Facebook Live on ‘FDDI Chhindwara’ Facebook page.
