Mr. Madan Gopal Vyas, Hon’ble Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur visited FDDI, Jodhpur Campus on 18th June 2024.
He was greeted by Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED), FDDI, Jodhpur Campus who briefed him about the specialized programs and industry collaborations of FDDI which not only imparts essential skills and knowledge, but also addresses specific needs within the footwear, fashion, and leather industries.
He explained that by focusing on special purpose footwear and support for orthotics and prosthetics, FDDI plays a pivotal role in enhancing safety, occupational health, and quality of life for individuals requiring these specialized products.
Hon’ble Justice visited the entire campus and also saw the ‘Centre of Excellence’ established in the campus. He appreciated the efforts taken by FDDI, Jodhpur in bridging the skill gap in the areas of Footwear, Fashion, Leather Accessory design and also for carrying out research and innovation.
