FDDI Chennai conducted a Design Awareness Session and an engaging workshop on Sneaker & Garment Designing at Velammal Bodhi Campus, Kolapakkam, on March 24, 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 100 school students.
The program began with an insightful session introducing students to the dynamic field of design education, highlighting diverse career opportunities and the importance of creativity and innovation. This was followed by a hands-on workshop where students explored key concepts such as sketching, colour coordination, material understanding, and trend analysis.
The interactive session encouraged students to think creatively and express their ideas through design, providing them with a practical glimpse into the world of fashion and footwear. Overall, the event successfully inspired young minds and promoted awareness about design as a promising career path.
