Faculty members from FDDI namely, Dr. Avinash Bajpai, Dr. Chitresh Shrivastava, and Dr. Govind Soni from the School of Retail & Fashion Merchandise (RFM) participated as esteemed delegates at the ET Great India Retail Summit & Awards 2026, organized by The Economic Times at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
Held from 19–20 February 2026, the two-day summit brought together leading retail industry stakeholders, including innovators, brand leaders, and policymakers. With over 100 speakers and participation from more than 400 brands, the event served as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and industry networking.
Key discussions focused on emerging retail business models, technology integration, omni-channel strategies, sustainability, and India’s expanding global retail footprint. Sessions on AI-driven retail, experiential commerce, D2C growth, luxury retail, and supply chain innovation offered valuable insights into the evolving retail landscape.
