As part of the Annual Programme of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, a one-day Hindi Workshop was organized on 29th December 2025 at FDDI, Noida, with the objective of promoting the progressive use of Hindi in official work and encouraging officers and employees to carry out their day-to-day official correspondence in Hindi.
Mr. Lalit Bhushan, Member Secretary, Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Ghaziabad, was invited as the subject expert for the session. An authorized trainer of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Mr. Bhushan provided in-depth insights on “Bahubhashi Anuvada Sarathi – Kanthastha 2.0.”
Highlighting the success of Kanthastha 2.0, the expert shared that the platform currently has over 32,500 registered users and has accumulated more than 5.7 crore human-verified parallel sentences. Building on this strong foundation, the latest version has been developed in a more robust and technologically advanced form. The Bharati–Bahubhashi Anuvada Sarathi – Kanthastha 2.0 ensures seamless and effective translation while maintaining a high degree of correctness and uniformity by preserving previously verified translations for future use.
During the workshop, the participants were registered on the Kanthastha 2.0 Anuvada Sarathi platform, followed by hands-on practical exercises. Participants translated various types of official documents, enabling them to gain a clear understanding of the effective and practical use of the software. The participants described the workshop as highly useful, informative, and enriching.
The workshop was attended by officers and employees from various departments of FDDI.
