A delegation from the University of Northampton (UoN), United Kingdom (UK), comprising Ms. Debra Hinds, Director of Global Engagement; Ms. Nouhaila Jouibi, International Officer, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, Department for Global Engagement; along with Mr. Puneet Malhotra, Principal Representative, North India & Nepal Region, visited FDDI on 22 May 2026.
FDDI had signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the University of Northampton, UK, last year, establishing a framework for academic collaboration between the two institutions. The partnership aims to introduce international academic programmes, including dual-degree and joint academic initiatives, to enhance global exposure and academic mobility for students.
During the visit, the delegation met Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director, FDDI, and held discussions on strengthening the institutional partnership and taking forward collaborative initiatives. Mr. Sharad Srivastava, Joint Director, Centre of Excellence (CoE), was also present during the interaction. The discussions focused on expanding academic engagement, developing a basket of courses, and identifying new areas of cooperation aligned with emerging industry requirements.
Discussions also covered faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative research and development initiatives, and knowledge-sharing platforms to promote innovation and address evolving industry challenges.
