FDDI, Chennai Campus, organized an educational visit to Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Park on 08 May 2026 for Foundation Batch students as part of experiential learning under the subject Observation Drawing.
The visit provided students with an opportunity to closely study the architectural monument, surrounding landscape, structural elements, spatial composition, and environmental aesthetics of the memorial park. The activity encouraged students to observe and appreciate form, proportion, symmetry, texture, and perspective while developing their visual interpretation and analytical skills.
Faculty members guided the students in understanding how designers and artists cultivate observational abilities through the study of real-life structures, natural environments, and public spaces. The visit also helped students gain insights into architectural forms, heritage-inspired design elements, landscaping, and visual storytelling through observation.
