As part of the nationwide commemoration launched by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, to mark 150th years of “Vande Mataram” (1875–2025), FDDI organized a Mass Singing of “Vande Mataram” across its Head Office and all 12 campuses—Noida, Fursatganj, Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Chhindwara, Jodhpur, Patna, Ankleshwar, Hyderabad, Banur, and Guna.
A campus-wide live streaming to commemorate 150 years of India’s National Song, “Vande Mataram,” featuring the national address by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji was also organized.
To honour this historic occasion, all campuses came together on 7th November 2025 for a unified rendition of the national song, which continues to inspire generations with its timeless message of patriotism, unity, and devotion to the motherland.
At FDDI Head Office and Noida campus, the ceremony was led by Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director (MD), FDDI in the presence of Ms. Manju Maan, Executive Director (ED), Noida Campus, faculty, staff, and students.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, MD, FDDI, highlighted that the celebration not only honours this immortal masterpiece but also reflects its profound role in inspiring patriotic fervour during India’s freedom struggle.
Students from across FDDI campuses enthusiastically participated in the collective rendition of Vande Mataram, celebrating the legacy of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s timeless composition and its enduring relevance.
The event served as a powerful reminder of national pride, unity, and the shared cultural heritage that binds the country together.
