FDDI Jodhpur hosted Samagam 2025, the All India FDDI Annual Cultural Fest, from 25th to 28th November 2025, bringing together students from all campuses of FDDI for four days of artistic brilliance, cultural exchange, and spirited performances.
The event was graced by Mr. Vivek Sharma, IRS, Managing Director (MD), FDDI, Mr. Gaurav Agarwal, IAS, District Collector & Magistrate, Jodhpur, Dr. V.S. Jaitawat, Vice Chancellor, Agriculture University, Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, Director, IIT Jodhpur, Mrs. Pro. (Dr.) Harpreet Kaur, Vice Chancellor National Law University, Jodhpur, Col. Pankaj Kumar Sinha, Secretary - FDDI, Mr. Anil Kumar, AFHQCS, Executive Director (ED) - FDDI Jodhpur, Mr. Lalit Kumar Jangra, ED - FDDI Ankaleshwar, Mr. Sunil Kumar Dwivedi, ED - FDDI Fursatganj, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, ED - FDDI, Patna/ Kolkata, Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Chief Administrative Officer - FDDI.
The fest opened on 25th November with thought-provoking Nukkad Natak acts and an engaging Open Mic session, setting an energetic and inclusive tone for the days ahead.
On 26th November, the stage came alive with competitive events including Solo and Group Singing, Instrumental Music (Solo), and electrifying Solo and Group Dance performances that showcased exceptional talent and enthusiasm.
The celebrations continued on 27th November with a vibrant Cultural Walk/Dress Display (Non-Competitive), followed by another round of singing, instrumental music, and dance competitions, reflecting the diversity and creativity of FDDI’s student community.
The audience was then enthralled by a series of music, dance, drama, and fashion shows presented by the winning students from various campuses. The students' creativity, confidence, and presentation skills were universally appreciated.
In solo singing, Saransh Barmia from Chhindwara Campus, Somya Shreya, Anvesha Basu, Saheli Ghosh, Mahika Bose and Annesha from Kolkata Campus won, in group singing. Devangana from Kolkata Campus won the solo dance competition, while Tanushree Rajpurohit, Anushka Pokhriyal, Soumya Sharma, Bhavana Vaishnav and Sukhwinder Kaur from Jodhpur Campus won the group dance competition. Vinayak Purohit won in musical instrument playing and Jodhpur campus students Dev Prajapat, Deeparam, Divya Goyal, Muskan, Shalini, Subrata and Divyanshi won in street play.
The fest culminated on 28th November with the Cultural Fest Presentation, trophy and certificate distribution ceremony, and a captivating Rajasthani cultural program. Performances by FDDI students and a spectacular Fashion Show added grandeur to the concluding evening, making Samagam 2025 a memorable celebration of culture, creativity, and camaraderie across FDDI.
On this occasion, garments designed by designers from the Kolkata and Jodhpur campuses were showcased on the ramp. Trophies and certificates were distributed to the participants by the dignitaries.
