The Intercollege Symposium “Texplosion & Festido ’26” was held on 28th and 29th October 2025 at the Department of Textile Technology, Anna University, Chennai. The two-day event featured a diverse range of technical and non-technical competitions designed to provide an engaging platform for students to exhibit their creativity, talent, and innovative thinking. The symposium drew participation from numerous engineering colleges and design institutions, creating a vibrant, competitive, and intellectually enriching environment.
Students from the School of Fashion Design (FD), FDDI Chennai, participated enthusiastically in the various events. Nearly 20 students represented the institute, demonstrating exceptional creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. Their active involvement highlighted not only their individual strengths but also FDDI’s continued commitment to promoting experiential learning beyond the classroom.
Students delivered an outstanding performance, securing top positions in multiple categories and bringing laurels to the institute.
