On 30th October 2025, a MoU was exchanged between the FDDI, Jodhpur and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur to strengthen collaboration in the domains of creativity, innovation, design, and technology, with a special emphasis on promoting and supporting artisans.
The MoU was exchanged between Mr. Anil Kumar (AFHQCS), Executive Director, FDDI, and Dr. (Prof.) A. K. Agarwal, Director, IIT - Jodhpur & Chairman - Jodhpur City Knowledge and Innovation Foundation (JCKIF).
This strategic partnership seeks to combine design expertise with technological innovation, facilitating joint research projects, skill development initiatives, and sustainable models for artisan empowerment.
Through this collaboration, FDDI Jodhpur and IIT Jodhpur aim to create a dynamic ecosystem of creativity and inclusive growth, effectively bridging the gap between art and technology to advance the nation’s creative economy and enhance opportunities for the artisan community.
