Faculty – Fashion Design, FDDI Banur, Delivers Keynote Address on OBE and NEP 2020


Dr. Pooja Singh, Faculty in the School of Fashion Design (FD) at FDDI Banur Campus, delivered an online lecture as a Keynote Speaker in a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and NEP 2020: Roadmap for Quality Enhancement in Higher Education.”

During her insightful session held on 07th October 2025, Dr. Singh discussed the synergy between Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasizing the integration of learner-centric and outcome-oriented approaches in higher education. She shared best practices in curriculum design, innovative teaching methodologies, and effective assessment strategies aligned with OBE principles.

Dr. Singh also presented case studies illustrating the successful implementation of OBE across various higher education institutions and proposed a future roadmap for continuous quality enhancement and academic excellence. She highlighted the importance of aligning institutional goals with learner-centric outcomes to achieve holistic education as envisioned in NEP 2020.

Encouraging faculty members to adopt reflective practices, digital tools, and collaborative learning approaches, Dr. Singh concluded by underscoring the need to strengthen quality assurance and accreditation readiness within academic institutions.
