In a series of forward-looking initiatives, FDDI Ankleshwar has actively collaborated with leading educational and industry bodies to promote skill development, innovation, and employability among youth in Gujarat.
On 18th September 2025, a strategic meeting with the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) explored future-focused collaboration in skill-based education and training. The meeting was attended by Mr. Mahesh Pamnani, Chairman – SGCCI Education & Skill Development Committee, Mr. Nikhil K. Madrasi, President – SGCCI, and Mr. Lalit Prakash, Executive Director (ED) – FDDI Ankleshwar. This partnership aims to design and launch industry-relevant, employment-oriented, and entrepreneurship-driven courses, particularly in the footwear, leather, fashion, and allied sectors. Key objectives include enhancing youth skill development, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and supporting the growth of MSMEs through specialized training modules.
In another significant initiative, FDDI Ankleshwar joined hands with the Indian Institute of Fashion & Design (IIFD), Surat to foster design excellence and practical industry exposure. Led by ED – FDDI Ankleshwar and IIFD Surat’s leadership team, discussions focused on design and innovation, skill development, student and faculty exchange programs, design competitions, and global industry exposure. The collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices, nurturing creativity, practical skills, and global competitiveness among students in fashion, footwear, and lifestyle design.
Together, these partnerships underscore FDDI Ankleshwar’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce, promoting entrepreneurship, and creating a dynamic ecosystem for skills and design education in Gujarat and beyond.
