Profile & Biography
Dr. Anshul Sharma is an experienced academic and researcher with over 15 years in the field of Textile and Apparel Design. She holds a Ph.D. from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. With a solid academic background, she is dedicated to improving the fashion industry through education and research. Dr. Sharma's research focuses on reviving traditional textile techniques, especially appliqué work through digital technology, and blending innovative design processes with textiles.
She has served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department at FDDI, Hyderabad campus, and various other institutions. She is also a certified Master Trainer in several textile and fashion areas under the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). In addition to her academic work, Dr. Sharma is active in publishing. She has written several research papers and given presentations at both national and international conferences. Her published research includes studies on digital embroidery, traditional Indian motifs, and the use of technology in textile design. She is enthusiastic about promoting traditional Indian textile arts while using modern design techniques. With her extensive experience in research, development, and practical applications in the textile and fashion fields, Dr. Sharma continues to inspire future designers and researchers.
