Profile & Biography
Dr. Anupriya Singh is a faculty member in the School of Fashion Design with over 08 years of combined industry and academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Clothing and Textiles from the Department of TAD, GBPUAT in 2017, Certifications in Graphic Design from CALARTS and Digital Illustrations from LinkedIn Learning. Dr. Singh was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by UGC, New Delhi to pursue her research focused on the factorial analysis of printing with natural dyes and process optimization. Dr. Singh is a certified trainer in Pattern Making from the Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles under SAMARTH scheme.
Her core areas include CAD, sustainable fashion, and draping. Dr. Singh has authored over 11 peer-reviewed research papers and 2 book chapters. Dr Singh has presented her work at leading national and international conferences and published in journals. Dr. Singh has received the best paper award in 2022 from NIFT Kangra, and she is contributing as a Subject Matter Expert Member on the Board of Studies for B.Sc. Fashion Design at Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women's University, Hyderabad. She is a reviewer at Shodhkosh and life member in IJBAAR. As an active member of professional bodies she mentors students for global competitions.
