Profile & Biography
Prashant Tripathi is an experienced and dedicated Faculty with a strong academic background and expertise in Mechanical Engineering. He completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2010 and completed his M.Tech in Manufacturing System Engineering in 2013 from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering &Technology, an institution under the Ministryof Education, Government of India. With 10 years of teaching experience, Prashant has made a significant contribution to the education sector. He has worked in various institutions, where he has imparted knowledge and mentored students in Mechanical Engineering domain like mould making, tool and die projects, Designing of Machine Tools, Unconventional Machining, Injection, and Compression moulding. Organized tailor-made courses of machine operators on CNC Milling and Lathe at CIPET. Presently heading Non-Leather department. Completed Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering on ‘Unconventional Machining (EDM)’. His research interests primarily lie in manufacturing systems, unconventional machining, polymeric materials, Rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and reverse engineering. He has supervised 02 M.Tech thesis in Industrial Engg and 15 B.tech projects in Mechanical Engg. He has published papers in renowned International (08 Nos) and National journals (01 Nos), which are listed in SCIE (Web of Sciences) and Scopus. The latest research Publications are listed below. 1.
