Profile & Biography
Dr. Srishti Maurya is a Faculty member at the School of Fashion Design with 16 years of academic and administrative experience, including a five-year tenure as Principal under SNDT Women's University. She holds a Ph.D. in Clothing and Textiles from SHUATS (2015), a Master's from Banasthali University (2009), and is UGC NET qualified. Her extensive leadership background includes serving as Exam Head, Admission Cell Head, and a member of the Board of Studies at SNDT, where she significantly influenced curriculum design and institutional governance.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Maurya has published 14 peer-reviewed papers and two book chapters, notably contributing to a patented banana fiber project and a collaboration with IIT Bombay to produce 200 crafted bags. Recipient of the 2023 National INSC Research Award, she serves as a Core Editor for IIP Publications, a Life Member of the Home Science Association of India, and an active contributor to NEP and NAAC initiatives.
