Profile & Biography
Mr. Abdul Rahuman M, Post- graduated in Creative Designing (CAD & CAM) from FDDI. He also Qualified the UGC-(NET) for eligibility as Assistant Professor. Mr.Abdul has more than fourteen years of cumulative industry and academic experience. He has worked with Industries like Vennpon shoes (Chennai), CR shoes (Ambur) & India shoes pvt ltd (Chennai) as a designer. Mr. Abdul has been working at the FDDI since January 2014. He have outstanding working knowledge of software such as shoemaster, Fusion 360, Rhino 3D, Corel draw, Illustrator and so on. His research areas are in design futures, inclusive design, footwear digital design and so on. Mr. Abdul published ten research papers in National & International Conferences and Journals. Author of a chapter in book "Multidisciplinary Research" entitled "Recent development in smart shoe technology" (ISBN: 978-93-90217-32-8), and published a book titled ‘’Fashion Accessories 1.0’’ (ISBN: 978-93-90307-29-6). Mr. Abdul also trained students on the long term & short-term course in FDDI. Mr. Abdul actively coordinated several one-day workshops, webinars, master classes and seminars related to design. In recent, He also published two design protection of “KV Derby” (Design number: 358034-001),and HB Sneaker(Design number: 375727-001) in the Indian Patent Office Journal. He also appreciated by RGNIIPM, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Additionally, he has been actively mentoring students in the BIS Standard Club (SC.8240) since 2023.
