Profile & Biography
Mr. Anin Naim Mullick is a Junior Faculty member in the School of Fashion Design at FDDI Kolkata, where he has been a key member of the department since 2013. He possesses a remarkably diverse academic foundation, holding an M.Sc. in Apparel & Fashion Design, an MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandising, an MA in Public Administration, and a Postgraduate qualification in Art & Craft. With more than 18 years of combined experience across the fashion industry and academia, he effectively integrates complex industrial insights with creative design education.
His technical expertise covers a wide spectrum, including Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Grading Systems, and Surface Embellishment on both fabric and leather, as well as Photography, Fashion Styling, and Makeup. Mr. Mullick has a strong background in government-led industrial initiatives, notably serving for over three years as a dyeing and printing fastness consultant for the Handloom Cluster Development Project under the Ministry of Textiles (Weaver's Service Centre). His professional history also includes roles as a Designer and Master Trainer at JRM Garments, Weaver's Service Centre, and NIRJAFT, alongside contributions to skill development via NGOs and colleges affiliated with the University of Calcutta. Additionally, he is an active member of the Photography Charcha Society, West Bengal.
